Und desalb passen Amerikaner und die meisten Europäer nicht zusammen.
Amerikaner sind zu eindimensional in in ihrem Denken, die kommen mit komplexen und mehrschichtigen Denkweisen nicht klar.
About thinking in one dimension:
I see so many "eigenbau" revs here with exact the same layout as the original ones
When people are building their own Revs why don't they come up with a different Design ?????? :kirre:I wished i could build "Revs" myself......working with my own colours/design.................

Piggy still needs to be tweaked a little.
This kite is one flat piece, compared to the Rev-Quad-kites completely different to handle.
You must keep your hands really together otherwise this pig goes his own way. but when we have found the best setting i am sure this thing will be big fun to fly.but still a challenge.... (which is fun too
)

A Rev is fantastic
BUT...i love the APUS too !!.
I flew my APUS many many time on those days with not enough wind. It needs just a little little bit of wind OR Thermal circumstances to fly soooo relaxed.
I love the way the kite searches his way higher and higher to find a stable place to stay (at the end of my winder !!!).Funny thing is it it not only a floater, you can fly it really active too.
With the littlest "flick"of the wrist the PAW turns and searches another stable direction to fly too.Build quality is great...Peter you have done a great job on that !!!
Respect.

The handles are made by Barry Cooper (UK)
Different from the no-snag-handles from Revolution.
My opinion: Better, smoother finish (so less/no broken leaders)
And in nice colors:Another advantage: You can choose thickness and placement/position of the foam.
Please send me a PB and i will bring you in contact with Barry.
ModEdit: Bild(er) verkleinert bzw. gelöscht. Bitte nur Bilder mit einer maximalen Größe von 800x600 Pixeln einstellen.

I think the SPL rods are too light maybe for my personal preference. Still have the feeling i need a bit of weight in my kite to throw around with.
I love the flex/recovery in the Black Race rods in low wind circumstances. The Green Race Rods bring the same feeling in higher winds, especially in mid/full vented Revs. For team flying the Green Rods are a bit too flexible but for individual flying they do the job very well.
You can also try to mix up the spars.
For example: Try to fly with the green Rods but with a 3-wrap cente LE-spar.It's all personal preferences. So there is no reason to say ..this or that is not good.
Fly whatever you like. as long as it works for you it's ok ! -
Thanks Sten for you answer.
What does DC20 mean (20 Kg ??)When DC20 is approx. 20 kg and DC80 approx. 80 kg both line-strengths are not usefull for me.
I prefer to fly 40 kg lines..
