The twist in the lines is relative, it all depends on which direction you fly

The reason why we decided to make the 180 turns always down is low wind flying.
A 180 down is much easier in low wind compared to a 180 up.....or you have to make a big step backwards.

The call 180 Up or down is good, make things clear...so......there will be no one who doesn't understand that.

Think about a 180 on the spot......how would you like to call that......Clockwise or counterclockwise.....

Most important is to have fun together !
And i know you are lucky to have experienced Teamflying-Pilots in Germany too, i am sure they are willing to provide good/practically info.
Just meet eachother, and have fun.
The JST4FN Teamflying Manual is written to explain the very basics in teamflying.
In my opinion a helpfull document to smoothen the start of teamflying with new pilots.
