Thank you Krijn. The weight is to keep things balanced in high wind, or because the vents change the center of pressure?
Another question for you magnet owners/builders. As I understand the instructions, the APA is located on the ULE, with a clip on the end of the LLE, and the bridle lives on the ULE? (Upper picture below). Is that how people build theirs? Does the bridle stay put if there is nothing holding it in place?
My two other magnets were built using the lower picture -- I slid the clip up to the ULE so that everything stays in place.
A third alternative would be to lengthen the LLE and shorten the ULE so the APA lives up top.
