If you didn't use a kitehouse style nose construction i would strongly advice you to change this.

The red arrows indicate where to measure from.

Measurements (Nose sewing to…)
Upper spreader center TAPA: 33 cm
Yoyo stopper center: 57 cm
Lower spreader center APA: 91 cm
Cross center: 58 cm
Bridle point on spine: 62 cm (4cm below cross)

Wow, very cool colors on the kite. I'll put the picture on my site.

It's hard to judge from that picture, but it looks like the upper spreader is higher in the kite then it should be.

In my version the upperspreader position is on top of the orange panels (see 2). It looks higher in yours, at least above the yellow.
Also the yoyo-stoppers are higher on the LE on your version. My version has the stoppers in line with the seam (see 1).

Also hard to judge from a picture but then the lower APA's on our version must be higher as well.

Did you use a "kitehouse" style nose construction? Like this:

It looks like you fitted a normal nose. This means the measurements are different because of that.

I'll have a look at my kite tonight and will see if the provided measurements on the site are correct.

Well, i don't think the LE's should be the cause of the taz and slot problems.
My version is with p90/100 LE's and isn't that stiff either. Still it does the tricks fine.
Are the positions of the apa's accurate?

You have to take in account that SUL tricking is a bit different from tricking with a STD version. The inputs can be different and slack management is very important. Also guiding the kite through the rotations.

Indeed, you throw the kite in the backflip but pull one line right away (so before it falls into backflip) and you catch the fade with the lines. The lines stay on top of the kite.

Episode 14 features the UL version of the P3 trickkite designed by
Pim Kusters, Pierre ter Bogt (P2) and tweaked by PAW (P3) flown at
Formerum beach, Terschelling. Some of the footage was unusable due to a
dirty lens but i had enough to do little video.

End Of Line STD Terschelling | IckyTV

Just some tricks and lines with the EOL of Ulzburger Kites at the enormous beach of Hoorn, Terschelling.

Another older Open Source Trickkite design featured in episode 13 of OSTK: Skyforce's Telica. I believe this kite was designed in 2005. Flown in a smooth seabreeze at the Scheveningen beach in front of the Kurhaus. Thanks to Lars for providing the kite.
