A little background info from my website:

90three STD
This is a little trickkite experiment i did recently. Started off with a shape i really liked: my Vendetta by Shawn Tinkham. Altered the shape by scaling it down to 93% and changed the trailing edge by cutting it a fraction higher. The position of the lowerspreader/center cross is a bit higher on the spine as well. Fitted single standoffs per side and added a Kitehouse style nose. Also made a little panel layout so i could use some icarex scraps (Vendetta’s have nylon sail material).

Turned out to be a nice tricker with a great taz machine and a deeper backflip. Backspins are better as well. Still quite slow and precise in flight. The signature Vendetta slotmachines are a bit lost. Maybe a little tweaking can bring those back. I’m not intending to share the plans publicly, since it is based on a kite that used to be available commercially. Krijn Hemminga was interested in building one as well so we both have a matching kite to do some pair trick flying.

Evening session with the 90Three STD at Molenviergang, Zevenhuizen. Wind was very variable and bumpy. Enjoy in HD.

First proper session with the 90Three SUL (perfectly build by Krijn Hemminga) at the Scheveningen beach. Great kite for relaxed low wind freestyle flying. Pretty precise too. Enjoy in HD.

Yes, i fly it with this (very short) bridle. You have to get used to it i guess. It's different.

i've had the same issue when building my new sail. The original (WindFactory) Essence had it's dacron longer then the sail (folden in a point) so the longer LE rods didn't stick out that much. I shortened the ULE on my kite a few cm, but it won't be a problem to shorten the LLE instead of the ULE. I'll change the sizes in the plan. Thanks for pointing it out.

Nope, p100.

I really like my 112 sul with p9/p100 mix.
Just used TAPA for the Upper Streader and APA's for the Lower Spreader.

Sascha's SUL has 2pt Leading Edges. Also very nice.
