Langsam steht der Winterurlaub vor der Tür. Da könnte man ja mal wieder...
Bis dahin erstmal die letzte Kreation für den Herbsturlaub auf Fanø diesen Jahres.
Oew, nice!
Is it based on the Escape? Any other info? Working title? ![]()

I bought 6 old sails from Matthias @HeinzKetchup. Partly framed.
Part by part i give them a new life.
Here two other ones.
Love that other WW sail too. Looks like it's Wine icarex? The original 'vana ww was only in no color if i remember correctly
Nice! Never seen a yellow Nirvana WW. Is it a home made sail?
Yes, very Cool! very floaty and controlled. Now i want to try a BASUL!
Das SUL-Segel hat gestern Abend seine Stäbe bekommen: Leitkanten und Kiel sind Aurel Agil 700, die untere Querspreize Nitro Lite, die obere Querspreize ist 4mm.
Wow! Wonder how it performs

The link doesn't work for me, Jens!
Already watching
Correction already watched. Good flying as for all of the videos you have produced so far. Always gets me envious.
BTW there seems to be much noise in the ground area of the video. Was it already quiet dark while filming or did you use a low resolution?
It was very dark allready indeed. I was kind of impressed by the Hero9 still producing a usable image with those low light conditions. With noise that is... ![]()
Da ist er nun , so gut wie fertig, nur noch die Clipse festkleben und nochmal gucken wie ich die Waage nun hinter dem Kreuz festmachen.
Nice one! Added it to the builds page.
Thanks Birger for sharing another great kite design to the scene!

OSTK Episode 32: Escape | IckyTV
Open Source Trickkites episode 32 features Birger Garbe's (Ulzburger Kites) latest design: Escape. My Escape was delivered by mail and with a forecast of nice wind and weather i just had to go out and give it a spin. Flown at the huge Maasvlakte beach in a smooth sea breeze. First impressions are very good. Love it.

The XL is the larger version of MugenKites' open source kite Lazarus. Flown in SUL wind at Formerum beach, Terschelling. Smooth flight, slow tricks and a lot of fun. Thanks Gabor for providing the kite to test and enjoy.

Looking good! i'll put it on the builds page.
The 5th round of 'PILOT' features Bram, André, Ronald, Lucas and Lars who all perform the Comete trick at the Zandmotor beach. See description and how to vote below:
Comete
The COMETE is a tumbling trick in which the kite rotates in a single direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise). In each rotation, the kite passes through roughly four positions: in a clockwise rotation the Comete starts with a Half Axel which flares the kite belly down, nose away. Followed by a pop causing the nose pointing down and slightly to one side. The next pull brings the kite into almost a turtle position (belly up, nose away). The last pull turns the nose pointing right. This series of four positions constitutes one rotation.
Wind: moderate/3bft
We want to know your opinion! Write a comment (IckyTV Instagram, Youtube or Facebook) with the following:
1. Your favourite Comete execution (name of pilot)
2. Motivate your opinion (optional)
3. Which trick do you want to see next?
We will announce the 'winner' in the next 'PILOT' video featuring the trick with the most votes from all episodes combined. Stay tuned!

Gabor (MugenKites) experimented with adding winglets to his Strange Thing kite design. It looks very striking IMHO. It gives the kite it's own unique character. Flown in moderate wind at Hoorn beach, Terschelling. Video shot using my new GoPro Hero9. Enjoy in 4K! Thanks Gabor for providing yet another batch of kites to fly and enjoy. Much, much, much appreciated!

The temperature is dropping fast and so are the leaves. Here's a little flashback to much nicer weather a few months ago in Contis Plage, France. We were there for the day to meet some friends and i just had to squeeze in a little 90Three STD session. Strange wind, but a lot of fun. Enjoy!
Thanks. Hope to able to do a Badass UL video soon.
