  • Horvat de tomaso honey help assembly & tuning

    Hello,
    I bought an used original Horvath.ch de tomaso honey, unfortunately I have some problems: the endkappe were not assembled and I don't know the correct position, if I put them above the stoppers the crossbar is too much curved...
    if I put the enkappe under the stoppers they slide down.
    Maybe the stopper position is no correct?
    The other question is, the crossbar is not original, so I would need to know which kind of rod and the diameter of the original one.
    I put some pictures, is not easy for me to explain in english (..unfortunately in german even worst...)

    Aujourd'hui le cerf-volant est différent, nous l'avons aidé à grandir, nous l'avons aidé à se construire avec toute l'énergie qui nous caractérise.Mais les challenges se sont éloignés. Le manque de motivation, d'enthousiasme, le niveau général en baisse, la desertion des pilotes, des fabricants inexistants, des shops fermés en masse, une fédération pas très encline à la modernité, de faire de ce sport, un grand sport, ne nous permettent pas de croire encore que cela puisse arriver un jour.
    Alors nous avons décidé de mettre un terme à la production de cerf-volant acrobatique.
    Cependant, notre passion reste intacte, et nous allons utiliser notre énergie à d'autres aspects du cerf-volant, l'organisation d'événements, de compétition et la production de gros cerf-volant.
    Naturellement, l'expérience du vent et des cerfs-volants nous aura conduit à la décoration des ciels de rue des centres villes, et l'architecture aérienne sera une partie de nos prochaines activités
    Nous travaillons également à la réalisation de musées éphémères de sculptures sur sable intra-muros.
    C'est avec un grand plaisir que nous vous retrouverons sur nos prochaines organisations.
    25 ans d'émotions, avec une équipe et des pilotes que nous avons profondément aimé et que nous aimons toujours.
    Une grande page se tourne pour R-SKY, avec cependant encore quelques bonnes idées dans les cartons ...
    Merci à tous d'avoir participé de près ou de loin à cette grande aventure.

    It will be the first Wind-R brand kite, right?
    When I red 190 cm wingspan I thought it could be a beginner/intermediate kite with high tricks potential, but after the video...I think is more an hi-end radical trick kite!!

    I have to make a new bridle for one of my kites and I was looking for a thread exactly like this.. very helpful.
    I have re-bridled my kites sometimes but I always spend a lot of time measuring and correcting.. so annoying!


    How do you call in english the knot used to attach the bridle to the rods? (fig. 2)

    About the STD, what is the upper wind range to fly comfortable? I have read that the kite has a good presence on the line that does not increase when the wind rises, that is very interesting to me.

    Today I fly my new One for the first time, half an our of pure fun, my son was playing football, (one of the kites was his birthday present) so I recruit my daughter.
    A really great kite, we are very happy!






  • HQ Delta Hawk repair

    If I remember correctly the center "T" was a rubber O-ring. I would leave the bridle setup as it is. The only thing I would remove are those metal rings. You should replace them with rope ends. If the bridle is very old and brittle you should replace it completely.

  • HQ Delta Hawk repair

    Hello,
    I have found an old HQ delta Hawk and I want to restore it, I have two questions:
    which kind of center T I have to use? Center T is lost, and the lower spreader is 1 piece
    I have downloaded the manual from the HQ website, and the bridle is attached on the upper spreader connector, in my Delta Hawk the upper bridle is on the spine, would be better to update the bridle?
    Standoff are missing, but I have found measures in the manual.

    Usually I use Ockert Profiline 50 dan with my N3E and Avatar, rarely 75 dan, I don't fly often in high winds, so maybe DC40 is better, what do you think?
    I have read is a very high quality and durable kite line.
