Hmm.
No, I don't think the Shadow is suitable for trick-beginners. It is not very forgiving. Alsop, some tricks are very hard. For example the yoyo, it needs a very specific timing. But it is very light and is an easy flier. Very tight spins, looks very nice.
For a beginner: most of the time: the bigger the kite, the easier it will be.

To make it more complicated: I really loved the Shadow
Good luck!

Great! Thanks!
Is there a chance to get the specs of the 90Nothing somewhere? Is it suitable for indoor flying?
---EDIT
I've just found it here:
http://www.kareloh.com/kites/kites-2/Thank you very much for the plan once again!
I am working on a small writing about the 90Nothing right now.

spine bit too long, but looking great!

What Grisha said seems best to me.
I can do that for you, send the sail to me, and you'll get it back repaired. You pay the shipping costs both ways.
(You can also send the whole kite, but that it much more expensive shipping.)Krijn

In my (humble) opinion the best vented there is.
First there was the vented, with only four vents, but the CW is a much better tricker. -
Cheers, Peter!
Let's talk about this and many other things next time we'll meet and not here.

Guys,
Please STOP:
- guessing how many kites I've built
- guessing how many euro's I ask for them (and certainly not only €35 for the materials!)
- guessing how many kites I've built secretly (none)
- guessing how many sails I've built
- guessing how many Returns I've built (one kite for myself, and two sails for other people)
- what will happen if no-one will build a certain open source kite for someoneIf you want answers, just ask me, do not guess for yourself and put it in an open forum. Please.
I'm just helping people that cannot build a nice kite for themself. I'm not trying to screw someone.
I am an honest guy, if you have problems, just contact me. And again: in a private message is the best way in my opinion.
(Just accept that kiting is already over its peak from the 90's last century.)

I have permission from the designer and I don't make money when I'm building for other people.
So I do not feel offended or attacked.
And I will keep building kites because I like building kites.
(I'm now working on a Sparrow, for myself, haha!)
