OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Teams wishing to participate at WSKC XI should now register their interest. See registration details below.
This is not an invitation. Teams invited to compete will receive a formal invitation in due course.
Availability: Before registering please make sure that all your team members will be available to participate throughout this time.
Travel: Participants from outside France may be eligible for a travel support allowance. The allowance will cover a generous proportion of teams' travel costs but is unlikely to cover the whole. Participants are expected to make up any difference from their own resources. You may wish to research travel options and costs but you should not finalise any travel reservations until you receive a formal invitation.
Meals & Accommodation: Invited contestants will receive free meal vouchers and hotel accommodation for 10 nights (period 13 to 22 April 2016).
Guests & Supporters: Subject to certain restrictions, team members may bring guests. However a charge covering the cost of guests' meals and accommodation will be deducted from the team travel support allowance. No financial assistance is offered towards the cost of guests’ travel. For clarification, team managers, coaches, interpreters and all others who are not active participants in the competition are regarded as guests.
A maximum of 16 teams will be invited. In the interests of the competition, we will aim to select teams from as many nations as possible, subject to budgetary constraints
REGISTRATION OF INTEREST: To confirm that your team are interested, please reply "YES" by email to andrew@worldsportkite.com by 23:59 BST on Sunday 21 October 2017 at the latest. Please do not cc your reply to any other address as this only duplicates effort and may cause confusion.
Teams who have not participated in previous editions should also send a brief resume of the team history, team member details plus recent video footage or links to online videos of your team flying a full team ballet routine of 3-5 minutes duration.
Formal invitations and further details will be issued to invited contestants as soon as possible thereafter.
