    Episode 34 of Open Source Trick Kites features the [Return] Mini by Ulzburger Kites: a 86% version of @Ulzburger second trick kite design. This particular kite was built by @Krijn with a super ultralight frame: mostly Skyshark 2PT. The sail incorporates Icarex Technic for the one piece centre panel.     Here's a little clip of a very nice morning session with the [Return] std by Ulzburger Kites at Formerum aan Zee. This open source trickkite by Birger and Philip Garbe flew very well in the light offshore breeze. Always amazed by the low wind capabilities of the [Return]. My kite was built by Birger and is framed in 5PT LS and P200 LE. Enjoy!

    So er ist fertig. Ich hab ihn neu genäht da mein erster doch etwas schlampig genäht wurde…. (War damals mein erster selber genähter :) also denke ich ist das ok :] )

    Rein optisch ist der Return immer wieder eine Augenweise, nur flugtechnisch komme ich mit ihm überhaupt nicht zurecht.

    Wie sieht es eigentlich bezüglich der Windstärken aus? Kann man den Return Mini bei mehr Wind fliegen als den normalen? Wo ist da so schluss bei dem Mini mit 5mm Exel Stäben?

    For the P200 frame, do the 6mm HQ split caps fit over the P200? Or it is necessary to use an insert?


    Also, 6mm caps seem to be out of stock everywhere in the US. Can the 5.3 be used instead, either reaming it out to 6mm, or somehow wrapping the insert so it is snug in the P200?

    Yes, use a 6mm insert and shorten the P200 accordingly.

    Ich fliege keine Kites mehr und ich baue auch keine Kites mehr. Ich lese hier noch mit und gebe gelegentlich auch mal einen Kommentar ab. Ich versuche einmal im Jahr zum TFT in SPO vorbeizuschauen. Ansonsten dominieren mittlerweile andere Hobbies meine Freizeit.

    One other question:

    Is there a piece of Dacron on the tail, or is the grey box on the plan just showing where the bisonyl strap goes? If it does go on the sail, is it on the front, or back?


    For the spine tunnel, do you use Velcro loops directly, or do you attach to a piece of Dacron first?
