The Midi Feather
My new indoor kite; The Midi Feather, should arrive this week as a late birthday present.The Midi Feather, designed by Damon Meheux is extremely light (under 0.2g) and has been made with the lightest possible materials. In July the larger version called the iflite II will be available. It's my understanding that the iflite II will be 30% bigger than the iflite STD (+/- 78cm by 45cm). Based on pictures and videos I have seen the vented iflite II is significantly slower and more graceful.

It's correct the latest iflites are pink. As mentioned in the link, there are 3 versions of the iflite: iflite STD (standard), the iflite vented and even a iflite MIDI (I guess it will be 30% bigger than the standard).
In my opinion I do believe that the iflite vented will become the standard because the flight characteristics are much smoother than the current iflite (without vent)

To Gustav: I do not believe it's worthwhile to try to build it your self. As mentioned in previous post...most of the parts are hand made.

Some details

On the other side: Patrick as put so much work in it to develop the kite and to make the hipe around indoor flying... This is much more worth than +/-30$ (including shipping) and mayb maybe you get an extra discount if you buy some together (good luck)

Yes, the iflite is just a must have micro kite for small places. Don't put it in your kitebag, but keep it close to you; in your briefcase; in your coat pocket or car so that you can pull it out on every free windless moment. I can garantee you will enjoy it.

Easy to assemble, It is framed in (3) different sizes of micro carbon, Fittings and stopper-beads are hand made by Patrick Tan.

There are 3 versions at this moment; Shall we say: "the classic", "the vented" and "a larger" version. If I am correct he sold more than 500 pieces all over the world.
