I would suggest you remeasure your kite, both bridle and position of the APA's and spars. I sounds to me as if your 2009 model has it's center T moved down a bit.
Again, measure everything to be sure.
There was one thing we thought could be improved in the 2009 model, and that was the fact that it dropped out of a backflip too easy. So you can understand why I think your kite is a bit off compared with ours.
It does go a little slow into it's backflip, but that is a price you pay for having very very flat spins, both on the belly and the back. If you adopt the "flick of the wrist" approach to your backflips, then the kite is on it's back before you can say "that takes a long time".
If you want the best in free-to-build kites, I can strongly recommend the B'zar 2011 Std, it's two steps further towards the perfect utopial kite compared with the 2009 model.
Mind you, when the wind blows above 24 km/hour, I still prefer to fly my 2009!

The plans are not ready to be published, but the rest of the things are there already to show what parts are used and so on. This week I will publish the measurements of the bridle and put some detail pictures on the website. The coloriser will be available later this week. The plan itself as soon as possible, but I don't think it will be ready this week. Never the less, we believe this model of the B'zar line is the best we can offer!!

Let us now what you expirienced during your first session with the 2010!!
-
There will be, but if I were you, I wouldn't wait for it. You see, we only publish plans if we are satisfied with the kite and the 2010 UL isn't up to our standard at this time.
However, the 2009 UL is a very good trickable kite that adds to your kitebag that extra low wind all-tricks machine
That said, the 2010 Std flies well at as low as a 6 km/uur breeze, so maybe we better opt for a SUL model. We'll see what time brings. Here's a Dutch pilot (Krijn) flying his own-build B'zar 2009 UL:

A CAD plan was in the making, but unfortunately it turned out wrong, I can open it in Autocad 2010 but it shows up wrong
As most of the users can build a kite working from a .pdf file, the CAD file isn't our priority now (we offer Adobe Illustrated and two sizes of .pdf print-outs)
I can send you the original CAD-file, maybe you can fix the problem (it's probably a 'view' thing, we had the same problem with the Vortex plan) -
The updates plans for the B'zar 2010 are now online in .pdf and in Illustrator format
Both in two files: a whole plan and seperate patterns!
So nothing is holding you back from building your own top-kite now! -
To make things clear: the 2009 has A4 printing offered with the plans
1:1 copy!
The 2010 has a A0 offer, also on a 1:1 scale
the 2009 is pure freestyle, the 2010 gives a little bit more controle to the pilot -
if it was ready, it would be online.... later this week, on an afternoon!!

here's a .pdf file to plot on a A0 sheet of paper, to help you guys out for now:
-
Both the .dxf and .dwg plan in Autocad are correct. So the problem must be in the .pdf file.
We are working on A4 files, the .pdf file is meant to be plotted on A0 size, so maybe the scaling is off when you try it on other sizes.
Please try to find someone that can print out the Autocad files or have some patience untill we have the A4 versions ready to be published (shouldn't take that long)sorry for the inconveniance!
-
Be patient, it will take another month or so to get everything right
Then a few weeks to make autocad-plans
We'll keep you guys informed when the plans are out in the open! -
partly fixed, the plans for the B'zar UL are back online

we are planning on setting up a seperate forum for all things B (like the B'zar is)
but don't hold your breath!! -
