I managed to get my hands on an HQ Chrome, in excellent condition, and for about a third of the new price.

Does anyone know roughly how many Chrome kites were sold by HQ?

Hello all

I flew this quad briefly at Malmesbury Kite Festival.

Anyone any idea what it is, and who makes it? Very squirrelly kite to fly, tendency to flutter, turn itself inside out, etc. Wind was very light when I flew it, so will probably do a bit better in a stronger wind.

Gibt es hier Leute die sowohl die Kamikaze-Butterfly und die Revolution Supersonic geflogen haben? Was sind die Vorteile and Nachteile von beiden Drachen? Wenn ich eine von die beide kaufen sollte, welche wurde es sein and warum?

Ah, thanks Mr X! This shows my ability to read German is definitely not perfect! So the Waage is sewn to the sail of the kite and NOT tied to the carbon rods .... Now the comment of a D-ring on the zanonia.de web-site makes more sense to me ....

Thanks Silversurfer, I've seen that web-page, but it does not contain any information on how the bridles are connected to the leading edge. I've tried to contact Herbert Stammler, but to no avail.

Hope you don't mind me writing in English. I'm Dutch and can read German, but writing it properly is another story ...

I'm looking into building myself a Wazo, and have searched the internet for plans, etc. Have found Didier Ferment's site and the information on zanonia.de. However, one thing is still not clear to me, and I hope someone can help me.

How are the bridle lines connected to the tips of the leading edge? Are they simply tied around it? What keeps them in place, especially since the leading edge will bend into an arch, making it easy for the bridle lines to slip off. Is it simply a matter of a C-ring or is there something more substantial?
